      Hi there,

      Yes, there are many apps that make use of technology to gather, analyse and report various statistics. It is almost standard with most of the mobile applications nowadays.

      It would be easier for me to help you expand on this if you could share details as in the end use of gathering these statistical points and utliization thereof.

        We have a lighting shop website.
        Could it be transfer to mobile app?
        And what type of statistic data you would provide?

          Hi Sandy,

          Yes, all the data that you show on your website can be made to reflect on a mobile application by building them anew if you don’t already have one. That is sort of migrating your website to mobile devices.

          There are 2 ways to do it –

          1. Build mobile apps (iOS, Android etc.) anew. These mobile apps can use the same backend (with a little tweak if required) that powers your website currently.
          2. Build a ‘Wrapper’ application. This is much cheaper but obliges some prerequisites for your website and happens to a be lot deficient than usual mobile apps when it comes to usability. I wouldn’t suggest this.

          A mobile app can give you as much data and you want about your customers like –

          1. Personal data (name, address, age etc.) is a given obvious.
          2. Analytics.
          3. Consumer behaviour
          4. Insights into whom and how to approach potential customers and constantly update your policy and tactics to help you sell more.
