I installed FaxWorks for DOS and the modem stopped working. This happened before I reformated the HD. Modem: Telepath II Data/Fax Modem V.32bis full-duplex speed 14,400 bps.
Everytime I click diagnostics the screen freezes and I have to press reset.(I lost the Ctrl+Alt+Del when I deleted the DOS partition, can it be recovered?), I boot the Win98SE in SafeMode and check diagnostics and the modem is given the message “Couldn’t open”, anyone knows what to do?
