On a 553 mhz celeron, 128 meg ram, pc with win2000 server and a 128K-ISDN modem, each time I reboot the computer the modem disappears or reappears.
EVERYTHING is working fine, modem, connection, IIS, web site, chat room, ftp server, proxy server,DHCP,DNS, e-mail server … EVERYTHING!!!
I simply shutdown, or restart, and when restarted the OS can not find the ISDN modem. Everything else is ok.
I do nothing except shutdown, or restart, again (2nd time)and when restarted, EVERYTHING is working fine again.
Why does the modem disappear or reappear every other time the computer is restarted??? How do I retain the modem configuration though rebooting??? Computer shutsdown or restarts as it should, no errors, no hanging, but modem only works every other time???
