After power failure, my modem is not working and i can't connect to the internet, and even i had done procedures like...removing the plug for 1 or 2 minutes and removing attached wirings and connecting it again and reboot, still couldn't get access to internet. What might be the problem? Is it due to the any electrical problems or something? Please i need an expert reply ....and an appropriate solution.Help me please.....

And it's still not working the power surge that happened when the power went out or came back on took out the modem and you now need a replacement.

Equipment failure

IF all seems okay with all the flashing lights on the modem, you would need to call your ISP (ATT,Comcast, etc) and have them check you line. Often power outages knock out gateways mounted on poles and in cabinets near the curb and need to get reset. Normally, a large connection outage will generate a local call bump and they'll reset it just cover their tails.
