    Monitoring Software

    Hi,
    I have w2kserver with active directory with 25 w2k prof. clients.I want one software which monitors my clients.From my server i can see what my users r doing,which site they r opening etc.
    Is there any free software or any software which helps me.
    i would appreciate if someone gives me assistance.

      There are some cheapware programs on Download.com that you can look at.
      A common program for control is Tivoli but it costs.

      You might look at Microsquash SMS also
      And of course there is the Admin tools in 2000 ( on the Server CD and at Microsoft for download.

      there is some tools such as VNC (for AT&T) that’s free and you can capture the monitore screens.
      but thats a client/server programs.

      I tend to like GoverLAN from PJ Technologies…you pay by the Administrator, regardless of the number of clients. Also, it will automatically install the client software when you access a PC if it is not already installed. It cost $550. It also has some handy AD stuff in it and full remote control capabilities. You can demo the product for 30 days.

      I used netprobe 0.3 (now 0.4) at a time.
