Monitoring someones Skye activity

By c_j819 ·
I have a staff member who appears to be spending a lot of time on Skype chat. When I check their logs there are no records to look at. There are only DAT files in C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Skype\SkypeID\chatsync.

So how can I detirmine how much time they are spending on that application. I can't find anything to answer this so any help would be great.

Thinking 'out of the box' ...

by OldER Mycroft In reply to Monitoring someones Skye ...

Assuming this staff member is being paid to do a 'job of work', you could disable Skype altogether then keep a note of how many hours of the day the said staff member appears to be craving the habit.

However, if Skype is a component of your company's working environment perhaps you are worrying unduly. At least it's not costing much.

Try this..but you will have to..

Notify the staff to make sure that they will understand. If anyone is not doing their job properly then this will give you the edge that you need, but read up on it first.
