I just started using a Viewsonic monitor with my laptop and upon rebooting, the mouse was disabled. No mouse device exists when looking for it under devices/drivers. I rebooted into BIOS and the mouse device is set on Automatic. There is no option at this point for enabled.
I also tried reinstalling mouse drivers from the manufacturer website to no avail.
Lenovo Thinkpad R60, standard issue.
Any ideas?
