I’ve seen this question a number of times, none of them answered with anything worthwhile.
I have a high-end PC (dual-CPU, 1 GIG of RAM, etc.) that scrolls through web pages very slowly in IE 5.5, while using the mouse wheel. It doesn’t happen with any other applications.
Tried: deleting the mouse and reinstalling (tried a few different types), installing Mouseware 9.28, running the mouse thorough USB instead of the PS/2 port.
I feel foolish not being able to tell my engineer why thisis happening. There are other similar machines – none that exhibit this problem.
I would appreciate some insight, if anyone has any. Thanks.
