If the user is useing Outlook you need to copy the PST and PAB files. Do a search for *.PST then copy the file(s) to a floopy or other removable media then do the same for the *.PAB file. If the user uses outlook and logs into an exchange server thecontacts are keep on the exchange server.

If it is in Outlook you look for a file called Outlook.pst located in that person's profile folder and you copy it to another machine , then you go to the new machine and in outlook choose to import the accounts and mail from that file you copied over. Or if the machine will let you, you can even just import from the original location.
