Moving e-mail in Outlook

In effort to keep your outlook inbox (server)under the allocated storage, i always move e-mail from inbox (server) to inbox (personal folder – local computer,) however, there are times when you move a range of e-mail outlooks gives out this error message: “can’t move the items. some items could not be moved. they were already moved or deleted, or access was denied.” does anybody knows what causes this problem?
