Moving Outlook 2007 w/BCM from Desktop to Notebook

I'm having trouble moving my Outlook 2007 pst file and BCM database from my desktop to my Notebook. Copying the pst file seems to work OK but when I backup my Business Contact Manager database on my desktop, copy it to my notebook, and then try to restore it, it blows up. That is, it gets about 75% of the way through the restore and generates an error: "This action cannot be completed because Business Contact Manager cannot access the database. ... Timeout expired ... 90 percent processed."
