Moving OWA out of Default Site

I’m trying to move OWA out of my default website. I’ve recreated the virtual directories and moved ‘exchfilt’ to the new site. When I try to access OWA at ‘http://my_new_server/exchange’, I am promted for the login properly, but after I login I see a directory tree view instead of the OWA webpage interface. Anybody know why I’m not calling up the webpage? Can I change the dependency of the Exchange HTTP server so that I can stop the default site without stopping the exchange HTTP server? Are these two things related? Thanks.
