Moving to systems administration
LockedSo. Currently, I have a degree in Applied Computer Science, along with 5 years of experience in the field. I have experience in hardware repair, cabling, 0365, Windows support, Mac Support. I have spearheaded moves to 0365, experience with Azure AD. For my current company, of less than 50 people. I administer 0365, our ticketing system, do support for a bunch of people due to the nature of our business.
So, my question is what my next steps are. I want to move into systems administration, and I am not sure what I need to know in order to really be able to do it. I have some experience in networking as well along with lots of projects and project management as both of my jobs have required me to either fully do projects or plan out the actual deployment portion of it. What kind of things would you recommend I study, or do, in order to get into that systems administrator role?
