First of all I want to say Hello, this is my first time posting in the Republic’s Discussion Board. Now to my question. I am an Australian Information Technologist. I do have an MCP and studied at University several years ago as a programmer.
I have been working in the industry now for over 9 years in many area’s from Desktop support, as an Computer technician (Hardware and Software) Network Technician, Server Administrator – File Web and SQL, Web Site developer Consultant, also I have doen this role as part of my Full time Job with the University of South Australia, and other IT related area’s.
I have been recently put doing project work developing Online Teaching Resources and setting up Online Teaching space, using Centra Server/Client Software. For many reasons, both personal and careerwise I want to move to the Seattle Area, this includes Redmond and other place. I have been having problems with getting any sort of interviews. Anybody with any idea’s. I know the Job market is slow in the US, but I do stress this is a permanent Shift to the US.
