MS Access - MSComCtl2.DTPicker Error

By Burgess_Kris ·
Having already suffered many errors with the null issue of this control (which are resolved with the checkbox enabled); I now have another that I can't get around.

I have a form with a tab control on it. 2 dtPickers are on the first page without issue. However; the few on the 3rd page of the control produce an error "An error occurred in the call to the windows date and time picker control". This only happens if the checkbox is ticked on the control (on page 3). The error seems to fire before the "form_load" event.

Really struggling here; any ideas to resolve other then either scrapping the tab control or tdPickers?

Yes, I've found the combination of the DatePickers and tabs a nightmare.

I have been getting those same errors too.

The fix came from enabling all DTPickers at form design level and then using code on Form_Current to activate/deactivate them

Godd luck
