MS ACCESS – Opening a Word file

Is it possible, and if so please describe how, to create a command button to open up a word document. Much the same way access allows you to create a button to open the MS Word application. However, instead of opening the application alone, we want a certain document to open up at the same time. Please be basic as I’m not an access expert.
