MS ACCESS – Opening a Word file

Is it possible, and if so please describe how, to create a command button to open up a word document. Much the same way access allows you to create a button to open the MS Word application. However, instead of opening the application alone, we want a certain document to open up at the same time. Please be basic as I’m not an access expert.

Look at NorthWind.MDB. The sample Db included with Access. Click Orders on the Switchboard.
Look at the form in Design view.
Look at the Properties of the “Display products of the month button.
All you need to do is enter the name of the documentas a Hyperlink Address.
If you want to use the Open MS Word method, still enter the name of the document as a Hyperlink Address.
