Can anyone tell me how to print a field list for tables, queries, forms and reports in Microsoft Access?

Open a table in Design mode and print the screen; this will not give a complete list when the list is long. Open a query in SQL mode and print. Neither of these does quite what I think you want. Really this questoin should be in Technical Q & A.

Printing table/query fields in Access

by informationfac In reply to cluge

I resolved the problem by creating queries for all of my tables using all of the fields and exporting all of my queries to Excel.

I created a program that counts the fields, then links to a separte sheet that I can select (by mouse click) the type of field which links to a pivot to give me final count information.

I needed this because I am basing a quote on the number/type of fields to a client.

Thanks for your response.
