MS cmd References

By DRezanka ·
Hi,

I have an AS400 background and have recently found myself thrust into the world of administring WTS and Citrix. There are these neat usrlogn.cmd scripts that allow me to set some environment conditions for every user that logs on. However, I need a little help with what I can do in these scripts (basically commands).

1. Is there a reference that lists all of the valid %variable% variables that are available for me to select?
2. Is there a reference that lists the commands with a better description of them (ie. Net Use)?

Thanx much
Doug

This will show some of the settings

Use the SET command at the Command Prompt. This will show many of the current system variables.
You can also look at 'Properties' of 'My Computer' / Advanced / Environment variables to see others.

Hope this helps
Dave
