Dear all,
I am having a user of ms-outlook’98 having local mialbox(residing on client side obly)and his mail id is configured on Ms-Exchanger Server 2000 with SP3 hosted on an Win2000 adv.Server with SP3.
While he’s present in the LAN(PDC and Mail Server is same) he’s able to sync. his mails normally and also he’s able to sync. using dial-up(using PSTN line ) sync. process locally(i mean he’s able to sync. in case if’s at home by local call dialling to the mail server)
Now,the problem is that when this user travels outstation with this computer(IBM Thinkpad)he tries to sync. his mail box by using STD(out station call ) Phone call,it takes long time to sync. but only very few mails get downloaded in his mail box without any error message,where as he’s got very huge no. of mails in his mails.this thing is realised after he returns to his office/home to sync the mails.
so can you please share some inputs regarding this problem.
