MS Excel Chart Plotting Blank Cell Prob’

by laurie j . Updated 23 years, 7 months ago

I have a spreadsheet that I want to plot a sctter graph against. The problem is that if a cell has a fomula in it that returns a blank cell e.g.=IF(F2=TRUE,E2,””) and I chart on this this cell is plotted as 0 (Zero) on the X Axis of the chart. Isthere anything I can use other than “” in the fomulae?

How do I stop these blank cells (even though they have a fomulae in) from plotting on the chart. I ahve tried looking in Tools, Options, Chart and nothing in there seems to effect this.

Iloom forward to hearing from anyone on this.
