MS Office Business for CMMC

I have been charged with obtaining CMMC level 2 for a DOD Subcontractor in the aerospace industry. I already did some research, but I feel a little lost right now and that’s why I’m here writing this. I was told I’m require to purchase office 365 business to start off. Can anyone advise to this or point me in the right direction to some documentation? Thanks,

I am afraid that I can’t offer any advice except to contact your local IT group for help/clarification. You could try contacting Microsoft for information as well.

https://dodcio.defense.gov/CMMC/ tells about the certification. It’s not immediately clear why you need to buy a license for Microsoft 365 (the new name for Office 365, which it seems you weren’t told) to learn about Cybersecurity. Moreover, the Business variant is for businesses, not for individual persons.

Better ask the company that gives the courses and does the certification. Or ask the HR dept of your employer.
