MS Office One Note

By Ravensnest ·
I would like to know if it is possible, and how to scan a document into my computer and be able to alter or edit it in one note? I am using a compaq presario cq 120-us with an hp deskjet using the hp solution center for scanning and copying.

Whatever the program....

it all depends on what format you create when you scan it, and what you want to do with the document.

The best file type for documents is PDF, but Microsoft pretty much 'tolerates PDFs' but does not embrace them.

To be able to edit PDFs, you either need the ungodly expensive Adobe Acrobat Pro, or a product such as Foxit PDF editor.

MS Word has an add-in that can save to PDF, and any scanner software can create PDFs.

But to edit PDFs, you need a separate program for that.

If, on the other hand, the document you are scanning is a simple non-graphical text file, then save it as a Word document, that is the best bet.
