MS-Office Registry Problem?

By waltknochjr ·
My Dell XPS 500 came with Win98 and Office98 installed. I have upgraded to Win2k. When I installed Office98 everything worked fine. But when I upgraded to Office 2000 I cannot run Outlook2000 and every time I use Word or Excel I have to accept the license agreement. I fdisk, reformtated and started over twice. I do not get any errors when installing. Later I installed PowerPoint/Access/FrontPage and with these I got errors that they could not be added to the registry.

Iam the Sys Admin for our Novell 4.11 network. We are using MS Client for Netware and MS Client for Microsoft Networks. We are not using DNS. I have the same problems logged in as Walt or Win2k Administrator or Novell Sys Admin.

Word/Excell - work fine execpt I haveto accept the license agreement each time I open them.

Outlook - Cannot be configured because administrator privleges are required...

PowerPoint/FrontPage/Access - cannot be registererd with Microsoft - the system information is either unavailable or incorrect...
