MS Outlook 2003 Script Error

By Trooper445 ·
When starting Outlook I get the following message:

Internet Explorer Script Error
Line: 298
Char: 1
Error: Unspecified error
Code: 0
URL: outlook.today

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? Y/N

Choosing either Yes or No closes the program.

Any suggestions?

Note: If you can't get into outlook at all, then rename the Outlwvw.dll file to Outlwvw.old The instructions for finding it are in step 7.

I could not start Outlook at all and followed the instructions starting at Step 7. After restarting the computer, the set up did the repairs of the files. However, when I started Outlook the same error message popped up. I choose to continue running the scripts (the disc was still in the drive). Outlook now opens and runs without a hitch. Thanks for the help!
