ms outlook xp

I have 2 pc connected though cable router. running xp. one getse mail ok. other one gets pop error cant connect server but both setup idenitcal.. some times problem pc will work.. nothing new was added to cause problem.. disabler virus checker firewall still cant get mail.. please help
