MS Outlook XP

By nu4ever ·
I had a file that came in and Outlook blocked it. It says it was a unsave attachment. I tried everything I know how to change it. The attachment was a word 2000 document. Any ideas will help.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security]
"Level"=dword:00000003
"UseCRLChasing"=dword:00000001
"OutlookSecureTempFolder"="C:\\Documents and Settings\\G1013202\\Local Settings\\Temporary Internet Files\\OLK7\\"
"Level1Remove"=".doc"

--------------------------------------------------
copy the above text into a blank notepad document then save that notepad document as unblockdoc.reg then close the document right click on the file and select merge.

Download and run TweakOL. It will make the changes for you in the registry in regards to security and attachments as well as give you the ability to change some other functions in Outlook.
