MS Project Resource Usage - Viewing Task Name

By gree1027 ·
I have recently started using one specific MS project (MS Project 2003) file to group all of my projects, essentially creating a "Master" project plan. It's fairly easy for me to do (I only need to copy/paste the collapsed project from the original plan into the "Master"), and following which I have a file that can render great resource usage reports for the entirety of my operations... essentially, all of my resources company-wide can now be viewed and used for forecasting in one file. However, my problem is that when I am in the "resource usage" view, I cannot distinguish what "project" the hours are associated with. In the Gantt view, my highest level task name (i.e. project name) is how I distinguish the specific project. However, in the resource view I can only see the lower level task summary names, which are not helpful.

Is there any way to include multiple project plans in one MS Project file, and in turn view the highest level task name (i.e. my project title) in the "resource usage" view?

I hope this makes sense, and will gladly offer any more information if someone thinks they may have some thoughts on this.
