I’ve been trying to get MS-Word to renumber the subheadings when I start new headings. My attempts have been to no avail. Example: Suppose there are three headings: I, II, and III; under each heading there are three subheadings: A, B, C. MS-Word begins the subheadings under II with the letter D (rather than A) and under III with letter G (rather than A).
Please advise.
