MS Word Image Problems

When I paste or “insert” “picture” “from file” an image into MS Word it will not show up as it should unless I print preview or print the document. However minimising the doc then maximising will show for a second til I do something else. It prints OK it’s just when its on the screen it won’t.

I have a brand new dual processor PC, top of the line, designed for video editing so it’s not the PC. I have Office Professional 2002 and the software works otherwise. Maybe there is a patch for Word which deals with this?

Can anyone help me?
