ms word opening ,closing problem

O S – 98 se , office 2000
all application in ms office works fine except word
while opening new/any word document,the small window heading ‘Microsoft visual basic’and below that ‘compile error in hidden module : main’ appears with 2 options OK / HELP
If clicked on ok word opens new/any document.
while working on any document if i click on save the error message window appers
at the time of closing document word asked for saving. it will save the document but at the end of WORD the error message window appers once again
with 2 options . I have removed and reloaded office 2000
plz give me short and sweet solution
