MS Word Protected Forms

By jgirard0320 ·
I have created a protected form and limited the entry fields to a specific number of characters.
When people access the form (which is one printed page) if they hit the ENTER key anywhere within the form the size of the form becomes larger than one printed page. How can I prevent them from altering it's printed size???

Try creating a table with fixed cell sizes and place the form fields in the table. That will stop the form fields expanding beyond their designated maximum size.

Wonder if this will help:

Create a macro that searches for carriage returns and replaces them with a space or a period.

If you right-click the text field in unprotected mode, your can set the properties; set the maximum length.
In the "On Exit" select the macro to eliminate the carriage returns.

All the best.
