In my BDC NT 4.5 I have installed MS Exchange svr 5.5. Now it began to stop Internet Mail Service. The Event service doesn?t start and issue the error 2140 internal of win NT. And another error message which is in the app event viewer is ‘ An internal MTA error occurred. Contact Microsoft Technical Support. Unable to write to the message tracking log, error [BASE XFER-IW 1788](16). ‘ Another errors are: ‘An error occurred during message tracking decode operation. Function ScSaveGateway tracking Data. << 0xc0020005 - Access is denied>> ‘, ‘ … Function ScOpen < ... the same as before...'. I restarted the Internet Mail Service but it stops again after some time. I 've cleaned some crowded mailboxes and restricted the incoming and outgoing messages sizes, however without any result. This way I cannot receive external e-mail messages, only messages from my network mailboxes. What do I have to do? Does anybody have any clear idea about this problem? thank you very much in advance, Paulo
