After “upgrading” to IE5 w/Outlook Express 5.50.4133.240, OE opens, I receive all email and can read, open, save attachments and email is marked as read. When I try to manipulate (move, delete, forward, whatever) the email, I receive this illegal operation message: “Msimn caused an exception c00000006h in module DIRECTDB.DLL at 0177:5f5844e7.” Then the registers and a stack dump, and OE terminates. My inbox is overflowing – any suggestions? This is on a Win98SE AMD-K6 300.
