“msimn.exe has generated errors … “

Every time I try to open outlook express I get this error message:
“msimn.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created”
I don’t know the location of the error log and I’ve tried following the instructions in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=258034
I’ve also tried uninstalling IE and OE (as much as windows will allow).
The program just creates new identities with the same problem.
Any ideas?!
