MSSSQL and Lotus Notes R5

How do I Configure Mssql 7.0 and 2000 mail server to use Lotus note.The SQL servers have Lotus Clients and they are connected to a proxy server which is also runs lotus domino server. I wnat to be getting email notification from SQl to my lotus inbox.
Please assist.
