multibooting with linux

I am having two operating systems win2k server( in NTFS partition ) & win98 ( in FAT32 partition ) in my PC.I want to install Redhat7.0 linux and make my system mutibooting.What is the best possible way to do this?

Redhat 7.x will set up LILO (linux loader) for you when you choose the automatic partitioning in the "Workstation" install. When you boot there will be a menu including each OS that you may boot.

Also, RH 7.1 is much better than 7.0 due to compiler problems in the latter.

My experience with Windows 2000 / NT and Linux is that you can not install LILO on the MBR. If you do, your Windows install crashes (mine did only until I deleted the Linux partition with the Win2K setup from the CD) and LILO fails to boot either OS.

My suggestion is to create a boot disk if you are using Windows 2000 / NT and Linux. Windows 98 and Linux work great together for dual booting off of the MBR.
