Multiple Copies not printing – XP – HP

Locked

Workstation O/S is XP Pro
Printer is networked HPLJ4200n configured with Standard TCPIP port.
Other O/S can print multiple copies w/o issue
Print properties allow entering (n) Number of copies.
Downloaded current driver from HP. Installed XP version for LJ4200n
Tried several applications.
…. but only one copy ever prints

This was not the resolution for me. Also tried diabling collation.

Any other suggestions.

Try using a different driver, like the hp lj4100n driver. It may not make sense but I have solve alot of problems on hp printers by not using the correct driver. Most recently we used a 4600 driver for a 4650 to solve this exact problem. If the 4100 doesn’t work you may want to try various other ones.

Follow what bock2000 suggests. I had called up HP tech support since we were also having a problem with printing multiple copies from a HP LJ4200n and a HP LJ4250n printer. They suggested trying an older driver like the HP LJ4100 driver. I tried it and we were able to get multiple copies. Good luck!
