I want to know if there is performance degradation using multiple switches connected. In my case, I have a Dell PowerConnect model 5448, and a regular 24 10/100 with 2 gb ports at another floor connected. From this second swith, I need to connect another switch, and my doubt is if it is the same if I use another switch or is better idea to wire single cables directly from the second switch.
