Music Files

By john.cb1 ·
I have a normal dvd rom and a cd - writer. I am trying to put music files on to a cd, but have found that the files are bigger than the blank cd, for example a music file is 758mb and the blank cd is 700mb, is there a software i can use to solve this problem.

Convert them to CDA or MP3 format. Normally done within the software for the cd writer.

Ahead Nero
Roxio

Both make software that converts music files (WAV and MP3) to CDA format, which is what is found on all music CD's.

Most new CD burners come with one of these programs to enable burning CD's.
