Music in a ppt slide show

Hello! I have a ppt slide show with multiple slides and object animations. How do I make an MP3 play automatically continiously through the entire slide show? I’ve researched this on on MS site and found good info – but thus far I can only make the music play through the first slide and then it stops when the second slide starts. Is this possible? I’m using ppt xp. THANKS!
