My Blackweb HDMI to USB type c adapter doesn’t work

I had recently bought a Blackweb HDMI to USB type c adapter and it doesn’t not display the screen from my LG Stylo 4 onto the TV like I was told it was going to. All it does is keep it as a power supply and will not change from that. Am I doing something wrong or could my phone not be compatible with the adapter?

I thought the same thing, but tue lg stylo 4 does not have an HMI conversion on the phone. Reason being, its a low budget tier phone, therefore phone companies tend to not not put he HMI conversion on the phone. Your best option is through Chromecast. It’s cheap, nd pretty easy. Hope this helps!!
