My First PC Build

By NigelPisswater ·
Hello All! I am on a budget of $1000 and trying to figure out what parts to get for my first "Real" pc. I currently am a little over budget, and I am asking for any tips or suggestions. I am trying to make no compromises. Thank You!

It appears your budget of 1,000 USD is light.

This exceeded 10 thousand dollars.

Frankly with today's Graphics Card Shortage your budget can't buy a leading edge RTX video card much less the CPU you listed.

Can you tell what for you is not real in, for example, this model: https://www.cnet.com/products/dell-optiplex-7070-sff-core-i7-9700-3-ghz-vpro-8-gb-ssd-256-gb-english/ ?

For $995 it seems to meet the only requirement you mention, the price.

I am curious

If the cost of RAM is $369.99 each x 3 how you will manage to afford anything else for a $1000 budget ? Your parts list would be nice together but no chance of happening at your budget.

Don't forget

If you are building a computer that you also need a PSU *Power Supply Unit". You will need to budget that as well. Not that it is a very expensive element of the build, it is essential.
