My girlfriend’s Samsung Galaxy S10+ suddenly displayed a black screen with

She recently put the phone in a new case, so it’s possible some buttons got pressed accidentally. We tried a hard restart, but that led to a screen that looks like a DOS interface with ‘SS RDX’ at the top and a lot of unfamiliar text. Does anyone know what’s going on or how to resolve this issue?

If kees_b’s suggestion does not work, might be time to get her a more modern phone. That model is a bit ancient by today’s standards and certainly does not support the most current version of the Android OS.
