Yes, that can happen with apk’s that aren’t from the Play Store.

      Possible solutions:
      1. Contact the maker of the apk. There might be a contact link on the site.
      2. Use another app or the official version of this app (that might include tech support, I didn’t check). Since it’s for your work, consider paying for it. It’s tax deductable.

Just like the prior reply from the prior moderator, there is no need to post an internet link to the source. His advice is the answer to your question, nothing anyone else can do to resolve it. Kind of like complaining to Apple because a Microsoft application/program isn’t working correctly.

Try enable security to install from unknown sources

      by BlockchainLabs ·

In reply to my phone showing error

Different phone has different setting for this, but I guess it’s because your phone doesn’t allow to install from unknown sources aside from Play Store or other legal apps store.

        installing from unknown sources

In reply to Try enable security to install from unknown sources

Never forget that downloading from unknown sources can be risky and introduce unwanted malware or applications with bad results. The best advice is to only download from either the iTunes app store for Apple or the Google Play Store for Android.

If you are receiving an error message stating that the app is not installed when attempting to install an APK on your smartphone, there may be a few reasons why this is happening. Here are a few potential solutions you can try:

Allow installation from unknown sources: By default, Android devices are set to only allow app installations from the Google Play Store. To install an APK from a third-party source, you’ll need to enable installation from unknown sources in your device’s settings. To do this, go to Settings > Security > Unknown sources and toggle the switch to the “On” position.

Check the APK file: It’s possible that the APK file you are trying to install is corrupt or incomplete. Try downloading the file again from a different source and see if that resolves the issue.

Check your storage space: Make sure that you have enough free storage space on your device to install the app. If your device is running low on storage, try deleting some unused apps or files to free up space.

Clear cache and data: Sometimes clearing the cache and data for the Google Play Store and Google Play Services can help resolve installation issues. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Storage and tap “Clear cache” and “Clear data.” Repeat the same process for Google Play Services.

Restart your device: Sometimes a simple restart of your device can help resolve installation issues.

If none of these solutions work, there may be other issues with your device that are preventing the app from installing. You may want to reach out to the developer of the app for further assistance, or contact your device manufacturer for support.

There could be a number of reasons why you’re unable to install the photo enhancer app on your smartphone. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Check the App’s Compatibility: Check the app’s compatibility with your smartphone’s operating system version. Make sure the app is compatible with your device.

Clear Cache and Data: Go to Settings > Apps > the app you’re trying to install > Storage > Clear cache and Clear data. Once you’ve done this, try installing the app again.

Free up Space: Make sure you have enough space on your smartphone to install the app. If your phone’s storage is full, delete some unwanted files and apps to free up space.

Disable Play Protect: Sometimes Google Play Protect can prevent you from installing apps outside of the Google Play Store. Go to Google Play Store > Settings > Play Protect > Disable Scan device for security threats.

Enable Unknown Sources: If you’re trying to install the app from a third-party source or an APK file, make sure the “Unknown sources” option is enabled in your smartphone’s settings. Go to Settings > Security > Unknown sources.

Try another APK File: If you’re still having trouble, try downloading the APK file again from another source or website.

If none of these steps work, you can try contacting the app developer for assistance or look for an alternative app that works on your device.

      thanks

Check your phone’s settings: Make sure that your phone allows installations from unknown sources. To enable this option, go to Settings > Security (or Lock screen and security) > Unknown sources and toggle the switch to on.

Clear cache and data of Google Play Store: Sometimes, issues with Google Play Store can cause installation problems. To fix this, go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Storage and tap on Clear cache and Clear data.

Check if you have enough storage space: Ensure that your phone has enough storage space to install the app. If you’re running low on storage, try deleting some unused apps or files to free up space.

Download the APK from a trusted source: Make sure that you have downloaded the APK file from a reliable source. It’s best to download from the official website of the app developer or from a trusted third-party source.

Try installing from a different APK: If the APK you’re trying to install is not compatible with your phone, you can try downloading a different version of the APK that is compatible with your device.

Restart your phone and check once

Make sure that the APK file is not corrupted. You can do this by downloading the file again from a trusted source.

Make sure that your phone has enough storage space to install the app.

Make sure that your phone is running on a compatible version of Android.

      Try restarting your phone.

Try installing the app from a different source.

If all else fails, you can try to sideload the app. To do this, you will need to enable “Unknown sources” in your phone’s settings. Once you have enabled “Unknown sources,” you can install the app by following these steps:
Open the file manager on your phone.
Navigate to the folder where the APK file is saved.
Tap on the APK file to start the installation process.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

There could be several reasons why you’re unable to install the photo enhancer app on your smartphone. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

      1. Enable unknown sources:
By default, Android devices do not allow the installation of apps from unknown sources other than the PlayStore. To enable the install of app from unknown sources, go to your phone settings > security > Unknown Sources. Select the option to allow installation of apps from unknown sources

      2. Check the compatibility:
Verify that the photo enhancer app is compatible with your smartphone. You can check the app’s compatibility by going to the app’s page in the app store. Some apps may require a specific version of Android OS or a certain amount of storage and ram to run smoothly.

      3. Check the Apk file:
Ensure that the Apk file is not corrupted or damaged. You can try downloading and installing the app again. Alternatively, you can try downloading from a different source.

      4. Clear cache:
Clear cache and data of Google Play Store or the browser you’re downloading the apk file from. Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store or your browser > Storage > clear cache.

      5. Free up space:
Make sure you have enough space on your phone as some apps can be larger in size. Go to Settings > Storage and insure you have sufficient space in internal storage.

If none of the above steps worked for you, or you are still getting the same error message while installing the app, contact the app developer or reach out to a technical support team for further assistance.
