Could you please state what browser you are using.
when did the problem start ?
Have you recently installed any plugins to that browser ?
If you are using Firefox and have installed NoScript; this can happen but likely that FF would fail to load several script triggered content on that page by default.

Have you recently installed any software that integrates with your browser?

I am using the internet explorer browser along with fire fox, but its the same results. I had just bought a used laptop on the 15th of this month and hooked it up and the problem was there. I have not installed any plugins or anything. I also have no knoledge of (No Script) and (FF) what ever those mean.

If happens with IE as well as FF then I suspect the fault is with your Operating System or at least Windows explorer.
You recently bought the computer therefore you have little reference for diagnosing a software issue.
If you were to attempt to look for the problem; you be searching for days and might not find the cause.
Because you have limited information about the computers history (I assume), I recommend that you format the drive and install Windows or any other OS, this will save you time and headache.

Of course, if you installed Windows after buy the computer then the next step to take would be to do complete spyware scan. If this fails to identify any issues then System Restore.
