    National IT Support Companies

    Locked

    by joubes ·

Hello, I work for a small engineering company and we may have a need to hire a national support company to assist us with configuring devices out in the field. Can anyone recommend a company that is national, and would have technicians in most areas of the country? The IT work is basic, just configuring small linux based devices with IP information via a menu, and possibly some basic network troubleshooting. One place I have in mind is the Geek Squad, but I feel that place is more residential focused.

    Thank You

As one who has done contract work for many of these…

I can point you to a couple of which I have had good experiences with. Listed in order of preference, first on the list is Nexicore. (www.nexicore.com) Of all I have worked with, this company is probably the most efficient. It likely has the largest demographically covered area of technicians also. Nexicore operates like a well-oiled machine. Barrister (www.barrister.com) is another good one as is Pro-Tec Services. (www.protecserv.com). Conversely, stear clear of Prism Pointe Technologies should you encounter them. A simple google will reveal why. I only bring them up as they have won some very large contracts in the past. Their financial woes are epic fail.
