Need Access Report Help

By mitchbryant ·
I want to "count" at the end of a report certain ranges... We "aged" an item based on [AgedDate]... So I want to do a 1-30, 30-60 etc... Count of how many items are within those ranges...

I know how to use the normal Count command but not how to count just a specific range within a larger report..

Can anyone help ????

CountIf doesn't work in Access. Try this combination:

0-30:IIF([AgedDate] <= 30, 1,0)
30-60:IIF([AgedDate] > 30 and Value <60, 1,0)
60-Plus:IIF([AgedDate] >= 60, 1,0)

=sum([0-30])
=sum([30-60])
=sum([60-Plus])

Create a text box for each range, using the formula builder in the properties for each box, enter the specific part of the formula (from the previous response) that is applicable for each range.
