Need Excel for Process ID Script tool?

Interested in trying the "Windows Service Process Identifier script" tool by Greg Shultz. But I dont think I can open Excel documents.....or can I.? (WinXP Home)

try obtaining Open Office from Sun Microsystems. It is a free download with a spreadsheet app, that should be compatible with Excel

If you do not have MS Excel installed, no, you do not have it. It does not come pre-installed on systems usually

If I'm correct , Open Office is a 74Mb file ! Is there another option? I have Process Viewer ...just remembered. I still dont know what to do with the info it provides on most items.

Microsoft offers free viewers for Excel, Word and Powerpoint 2003 in their download site.
