Need New ACER CMOS Battery-Pls help-Urgent

Hello
i bought laptop from some1.There was something wrong with CMOS battery so he removed it.Now i need to install new battery.I tried searching for battery on eBay but i did not find any for my laptop.My laptop is Acer TravelMate 4011WLCI.
My question is will it work if i put any other acer CMOS battery.There is some battery on eBay which is for acer. Is all Laptop CMOS battery same.Pls help me.thank you very much in advance

Must be a really old model, because ACER doesn’t list that model number anywhere on their site. Did you get an owner’s manual when you bought it? Perhaps the battery specification is listed in there.

You said you removed the CMOS battery. Are there markings on the battery? Does it look like a watch battery? Does it say 2032 on the back of it? If so, you can purchase those batteries at any pharmacy, gift shop, gas station, grocery store that carries those types of batteries.

If it doesn’t look like a watch battery which is a common item to purchase nearly anywhere, then I’m afraid you’ll have to be quite a bit more specific about what the battery looks like and tell us any markings that you can find on the battery.

Also I have a few old laptops one is an Acer7000 series Pentium 2 I’m cleanup the shop if the CMOS is the same your welcome to it. Just post back
