I m using windows xp professional.I applied the some policies on specific domain users using gpedit.msc through local administrator account. But now every domain user can edit these policies. Now i want that only domain administrator or local administrator can edit these polices through gpedit.msc.

Use GPOs

It sounds like you used Local Policy instead of Domain Policy, which can only be edited by a domain admin.

Oh, and you could change the file system rights to gpedit.msc so that only Administrators could open it. Although I though only admins could edit policies anyway, but I've never really tested it. I'll assume you have made sure that the users in question do not have local admin rights.
